I LOVE ART, and St. Cecilia is the patron Saint of artists, so it looks like I’m in the right place! Our pastor noticed my creativity a few years ago, and the parish staff welcomed me to apply it toward practical goals. You’ll see me early in Mass, waiting for the celebration to start, sketching away with my family beside me, “happy as a clam” in the place I find my inspiration. Some people pray with words, I do so through art. It’s wonderful to be able to apply this gift to the signage and notices that we use. It fills me with such satisfaction, to be able to help my parish design attention-grabbing advertisements with an artsy flair.
